Erik Bruce
Erik Bruce founded the company in 2011 in his Manhattan Apartment with a small team of dedicated tailors. After joining forces with his business partner Simon Hansen, the company has grown substantially and now operates loft space in the creative part of Bushwick, Brooklyn.
Since 1998, Erik Bruce has worked with some of the most renowned and respected architects and interior designers, as well as directly with clients and artists.
Our projects span all segments of the industry, from highly acclaimed retail stores, restaurants and hospitality projects, to the most luxurious of residential spaces. These include the recent renovation of the UN North Delegates Lounge, numerous museums such as MoMA, The New Museum, Parrish Art Museum, North Carolina Museum of Art, Toledo Art Museum and The Park Avenue Armory. We have completed many residential projects in Bjarke Ingels NY buildings, as well as various creative projects for the Calvin Klein flagship store on Madison Avenue with Raf Simons, as well as their many retail locations and showrooms nationwide. He has worked with restauranteurs such as Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Danny Meyer, and Daniel Boulud, as well as Nobu and The Mercer Hotel. Residential clients have included celebrity names such as Martha Stewart, Gwyneth Paltrow, Benicio del Toro, Amanda Seyfried, Andre Balazs and Ian Schrager to name a few.
Today, the studio has grown into a full-fledged design and manufacturing company providing all services relating to the process, including specifications, procurement, design development as well as managing every aspect of the fabrication and installation process.
Our team of tailors possess skills from diverse backgrounds such as theatre, manufacturing, and fashion design. Our designers and project managers' skills include fine art, interior design, as well as architecture. Together, the multi-cultural company of Erik Bruce showcases a spectrum of collective experience housed in a creative studio creating quality service and products with pride.
